Information for CBHEC Personnel

CBHEC Employee Development

The following career development series classes will be offered to CBHEC employees. Since these classes will be in a series, please be sure you are able to attend all classes in the series for which you sign up. The sign-up form is below.

The classes will take place Fridays during the regular lunch hour, noon to 1 p.m. Please bring your own lunch. The deadline to sign up for series classes is ONE WEEK prior to the series' start date.

NOTE: Participants who work in Kingsville, Victoria and Lake Jackson may attend in person or via WebEx. If you are planning on attending via WebEx, please indicate it on the form below so arrangements can be made. Also, workbooks will be mailed to off-site locations.

Grand Canyon: Lava Falls 2.0

Description:

This simulation will take participants up the black lava walls of the Grand Canyon and learn team decision-making and consultation skills.

Grand Canyon: Up Deer Creek Without a Boatman

This simulation exercise will focus on creative problem solving and internal team consultation and consensual decision making.

Grand Canyon: Hiking Out of Lava Falls

Description:

This simulation exercise will focus on creative problem solving and internal team consultation and consensual decision making.

Grand Canyon: Stranded in the Grand Canyon

Dates:

Description:

While stranded in the Grand Canyon, participants will learn a three-stage creative problem-solving procedure in order to accomplish their goal.
